Microblading

Microblading is a great semi-permanent option for clients with sparse, patchy, uneven, or thinning eye brows, or for those that have experienced eye brow loss following chemotherapy.
Microblading is the semi-permanent depositing of pigment, in a manner mimicking natural brow hair, into the top layer of the skin. Using a stroking technique with a very fine tipped needle, the microblader draws on and deposits a liquid pigment into the top layer of a client’s skin. After healing, the deposited pigment will look like thin, individual brow hairs.

Because it is common during some of the healing process (up to 3 weeks after microblading) for the pigmented hairstrokes to appear darker than the desired color that they will ultimately settle at, we recommend that our clients schedule any microblading or microblading touch-up appointments for at least one month prior to any important events.  It is also common to experience some degree of pigment loss and lightening during the initial healing process, pigment loss and fading is corrected during the touch-up appointment 8-12 weeks after the initial microblading.

We do require a complimentary consultation visit prior to scheduling your microblading.  During the consultation, our microblader will listen to what you hope to achieve/correct with microblading, discuss possible shape and color options, measure and collaborate with you to create a brow template that you are happy with, answer any questions you might have, and go over pre-procedure instructions.

Threading

If you’ve ever admired of a pair of beautifully shaped eyebrows that complimented their owner’s face structure without looking overly pruned, chances are that person’s eyebrows were threaded. And they were threaded well.

Threading allows for a much more precise control in shaping the brow. Our brow artists can choose exactly which brow hairs to remove and exactly which hairs to leave intact all without the irritation often caused by waxing.  We also tweeze and trim where necessary to achieve the perfect shape. Threading quickly removes hairs by their root without removing any skin cells in the process.

Our brow artists are skilled in working with you to find the right shape to accentuate your face structure and make your eyes pop.  For clients who have over tweezed through the years, we can work with you to get the results that you desire.  All brow shaping appointments are concluded with a soothing brow massage.

Our brow artists are skilled in working with you to create the right shape and tone to accentuate your face structure, compliment your skin tone, and make your eyes pop.

Threading for Facial Hair

Threading quickly removes facial hairs by their root without removing any skin cells in the process. For this reason, it is the preferred method of facial hair removal for sensitive skin and for skin that is prone to inflammatory break outs.  All types of waxing will remove a thin layer of skin cells along with the unwanted hair. This often results in irritation and is contraindicated for anyone using products containing retinol (both prescription strength and over-the-counter) and/or certain prescription acne medications that work to thin the top layer of the skin.
